HOW TO ATTRACT POSITIVE ENERGY - 7 SIMPLE WAYS
JOHNNY STONES
How much negative or positive energy we attract is something
that is completely in the hands of every individual. While this is an extremely
empowering bit of knowledge, it is also a tremendous responsibility that
requires us to be careful about all our thoughts, actions and words. The
following seven methods will help you lead a life that attracts more positive
energy which in turn will lead to more good things happening in your life.
1. Clean and Organize Everything
Everything from you car to
your bedroom has an impact on how you feel through-out the day. When everything
is in a state of disarray it impacts the flow of our day in a negative way,
whether it just visually bothers us or we have to literally spend energy
searching fro something in our messy. Treat your space as if it is sacred to
show that you value and appreciate having it, because chances are that many
people in the world would love to live in the luxury that you do. By
introducing order and a good flow into places you spend time, it will give you
a safe place for wonderful things to enter into your life.
2. See
the Positive Energy that is Already Present
A common mistake is to
overlook all of the wonderful things that are already present in life. Always
look for the good in every situation, so that you can come into the experience
with an open mind ready to receive the wondrous grace that is in every moment.
3.
Visualize a Life of Contentment and Peace
Spend the time to
visualize a life where you are satisfied and happy. Only when we open up
ourselves to the potential for good and positive things will they begin to come
our way.

4. Do NOT
Worry about the Future
Part of breaking away from
negative energy is learning to stop assuming the worst will happen. Learn to
anticipate positive things coming your way rather than constantly worrying
about imaginary scenarios. Focus your attention on all the great things that
are coming your way.
5. Love
Yourself- Mistakes and All
Many people hold
resentment towards themselves for making mistakes in the past. No one can take
the clock back to undo mistakes. Just know that every bad experience is a
chance to learn, and the only place you can work on improving things is in the
present.
6. Follow
the Three Folds Law
The three fold law states
that everything you put out in the world will come back to you three-folds.
Know deep within that all of the positive energy you put out into the world
will eventually come back to you. Whenever making a decision, assess what the
consequences in the future may be.
7. Do NOT
Speak Negatively
Words are powerful tools
that can take life in many different directions. Everything you say can have
huge consequences. Learn to think more before you speak. When you are thinking
about what you are saying determine whether it is negative or positive. If it
is the latter avoid keep your lips sealed and dismiss the thought as something
to negative to welcome in your life.

How Can I Stick to My Goals?
by Myrko Thum
“I create goals in my mind every night. And every day I try to live them but I end up doing the exact opposite of what I want to do, and I don’t understand why. How can I stick to the personal goals I set for myself?”
“I end up doing the exact opposite of what I want to do…”
Interesting.
First of all, make sure that these goals are actually goals you really, REALLY want. Something with high long-term value. Only those are real goals.
Everything else is just something that would be nice to have today (and may be forgotten tomorrow).
Make it a few but important goals. If you have 20 goals, you basically have no goal. Because you just can’t keep your focus on that many goals.
You can find those goals by going through a proper goal-setting exercise.
If those are real goals you have, and you still have a hard time moving towards them…
I can tell you exactly why this happens.
One word: Fear.
You most likely fear the consequences of what happens when you reach your goals.
The fear of failure goes:
“What happens if I fail? What happens when my big dream won’t come true? What if I just don’t have what it takes? How disappointed and worthless will I feel?”
And the other side, the fear of success goes:
“What happens if I succeed? How will my life change? Am I really ready for that? What new challenges will come to me? Do I really want all that?”
The problem with fear is that it’s coming from the unconscious “reptilian” brain. And that might be in conflict with our conscious goal-setting.
The moment you get aware of your fear, you have a chance to overcome it.
Another word: Beliefs.
If you set goals that are in contrast to your beliefs and your values, you will get inner resistance.
That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t set those goals.
On the contrary.
After all, compelling goals have the power to pull you towards a better life. That’s the power of goals: they work best if you really want to make a change.
Run a Check on Your Beliefs
What you can do is to get awareness about your beliefs.
For instance complete the following sentences:
“I want to reach my goal, but _________.”
“I haven’t reached my goal, because _________.”
Fill in the blanks and you will find some interesting limiting beliefs.
This is pretty powerful stuff. So do it!
And then you can even change your beliefs, so that they don’t limit you, but support you in your goal achievement. What a concept!
The third word: Habits.
When you set new goals that pull you out of your comfort zone and need you to form new habits, or give up old habits, you will feel resistance.
That’s something we call habit gravity.
The moment you start to form a new habit, your old habits that are in contrast to your new habits will pull you back down.
For instance when your goal is to start running every morning, you might do it the first 2 days. Then your old habit of sleeping longer will show his ugly face and resist the creation of your new habit.
So you have to escape this habit gravity. And that’s done by…
The last word: Focus.
You can radically improve your goal achievement if you learn how to focus your mind on your goals.
If you’ve set a powerful goal, a goal that is representing what you deeply desire inside, then your mental focus is your tool to make this goal your reality.
“The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.” ~ Stephen Covey
People think focus means to decide what to focus on. But in reality, this is not the main thing.
The main thing is to say no to all the things you could do, but which would distract you from your goal. To stay focus you need to learn to say no.
So learn stay focused on your goals and you’ve gone the next step.

The Importance of D.O.D: Desire, Optimism and Dream
By Bonnie Goldstone
Are there things you would like to do? Have you set some plans in motion, penciled in dates on your calendar? Do you have some activities or even personal goals you would like to include this year?
As I sat down with my pen and paper to put down my ideas of the things I want to do and experiences I wish to create, I came up with this acronym.
D.O.D.
D - Desire:
What do you want to do or create this year? What do you truly desire? Take 5-10 minutes to quietly ponder the possibilities.
Simply allow yourself to open up to your hearts deepest desires. Maybe you want to travel, take a course, or move to a new location. Think of it as a game.
Wouldn't it be cool to... lose weight, become stronger, join a yoga class, or participate in a marathon? Wouldn't it be fun to shop for new clothes, to climb a pyramid, or go sailing?
I like to use self-hypnosis to get into that deep relaxed state where my conscious analytic mind is quiet and I can listen to my inner voice. I believe it is a good idea to consider desires in many categories of our lives.
For example, we may want to brainstorm ideas around our wealth and prosperity, yet we don't want to ignore our relationships or health.
Taking time to consider all aspects of our life and what we desire in each area is a positive step in creating balance and happiness in our lives.
If we focus only in one area, career and money for example, we may miss opportunities to grow and flourish in our relationships. Both are important to our happiness.
O - Optimism:
When an idea comes to you, allow yourself to expand on it in a positive way.
Sometimes we squash our ideas before we even allow our minds to completely formulate the complete idea. Do you do that sometimes?
Maybe you came up with the idea you would like to participate in long distance bike ride. You don't even own a bike, so you immediately dismiss the idea. Stop. Allow yourself to have some fun with the thought.
What would it feel like to go on a long distance bike ride? Who would you go with? What would you see? What would you have to do before hand to make this happen and is it something that would you would enjoy? Does this idea stir up some excitement for you? If it does, allow yourself to begin to...
D - Dream:
When you acknowledge a desire, whether it is a desire to travel, learn something new, change a habit or create something, and then you add a splash of optimism... you get a DREAM.
Continue to allow that idea or thought to grow and intensify; allow your mind to expand on this desire.
This is how DREAMS begin.

Modelling Genius
Source: http://www.the-secret-of-mindpower-and-nlp.com/Modelling-Genius.html
Modelling
Genius – an NLP technique
The technique we are suggesting on this page is
the same whether you have insight and confidence or whether you don’t.
As always, we suggest you read through the
instructions completely before starting the exercise.
If you find meditation music aids your
concentration, play some softly in the background.
Now, put yourself into a frame of mind where you
can relax and go inside yourself – into your own particular
zone, so to speak.
Go to wherever you go to think, study or
meditate, or any other place which you feel is good for your peace of
mind. Sit comfortably and preferably with your feet on the
floor.
Now find a spot on the facing wall that
you can concentrate your attention upon.
Modelling
Genius with peripheral vision
As you concentrate upon that spot, and without
moving your eyes or your head, become aware of the edges of your vision.
This is what we refer to as your peripheral
vision. Become aware of how high and low you can detect images and
movement.
At the same time as you do that also become
aware of how wide you can detect image and movement even though you are still
focusing on the spot on the wall opposite.
Continue doing this and see how much
wider you can open your vision upwards, downwards and sideways.
Now, as your awareness of everything around you
is growing – and still concentrating on the spot - become aware of what
is happeningbehind you and stretch your peripheral vision to its
furthest limits.
If you are finding it difficult to see the back
of your head, imagine a ball at the back top edge of your head and stretch your
peripheral vision until you can visualise it there.
Modelling
Genius using an altered state
Now become aware of the way you feel in
this state. People will vary but you may feel an intense state of
concentration or detachment and your general awareness may grow.
However it feels to you, it is an altered state
which should aid your concentration and understanding.
This is also a very good state in which to
acquire knowledge and understanding, so if you are studying for an examination,
for example, try putting yourself into this state each time you have a study
session, and put yourself back into the state at the time of the
examination. Your recall and results should improve.
For these purposes, however, think now about what
you want to achieve.
Look deeply inside yourself and see where you
have the qualities that you believe you require in order to get where you want,
and if you can’t recognise some or all of them consider other people, living or
dead, who have obtained or achieved precisely what you wish for yourself.
Make a note of the qualities or skills that you
think you desire and, in this state, envisage those people who have been
successful in the field you are thinking about and make a note of them
also.
Modelling
Genius by research
You may at this stage need to do a little
research to identify individuals on which to model yourself.
If it is a particular sporting achievement that
you wish to emulate or successful business person, that is fairly
straightforward.
Research them in libraries, or on the net, read
biographies, look for interviews with them on Youtube or other suitable
media, but above allfind out everything you can about how they
achieved their success.
It will not always come from their own mouths because
successful people do not always know precisely how they have achieved what they
did, so you may also need to rely upon your own observations and those of other
commentators. Saturate yourself with as much information about them as is
possible.
It may be that you will need to look at more
than one model of genius to fulfil the particular criteria you are
seeking. The same applies no matter how many you study.
Modelling
Genius with an interview
If you can get an interview with one or more of
them, so much the better. You may be saying to yourself right now, “But
that’s impossible”. My response is, you don’t know until you ask.
There are many superstars and successful people
out there who are happy to share their knowledge with those who wish to emulate
them.
Think of it this way: if your request is
refused or ignored, you are in no different a position than you are now.
But if they say yes, where might that lead?
There is certainly nothing to lose.
Remember the old cliché,Nothing ventured, nothing gained, and act upon
it.
Modelling
past genius
When you are considering who to model, remember
those great people who are no longer with us.
On this site you will find a number of mock
interviews with those we consider to be Real Men of Genius and Real Women of Genius.
They are designed to whet your appetite and
to give you a flavour of the talents and characteristics which they displayed
during their lifetimes – and that we all have within us – as well as some of
their principal achievements.
Read them and see where they lead you.
Some will match your own ambitions more than others.
Where you find one or more of them particularly
inspire you, research them in greater depth.
Find out more. Model yourself on them,
discover your own genius, and maybe you too will, one day, inspire others by
the way you live your life.
Modelling
Genius and returning to the altered state
Finally, when you have accumulated all the
information you feel you need on which to model the qualities or abilities you
desire, recreate the state you started with at the beginning of all
this by looking at the spot on the wall and following that exercise.
When you have achieved that altered state,
review all the information you have and compare it with what you were looking
for in the first place and think creatively how to use that information.
Be prepared to surprise yourself!

Reframing, or Using Positive Language - Part 2 of 2
As discussed in part 1, the Reticular Activating
System (RAS) of your brain acts as a filter, as a gate-keeper to your
subconscious mind. It allows “in” not any random bits of information, but only
the ones that the mind is interested, and more importantly – the ones that your
subconscious mind recognises.
Here is a classic example. You are at a
party, with lots of noise, music, and people talking around you. In that sea of
unintelligible sounds, someone mentions your name. You become alert, as your
RAS filtered through something familiar. Similarly, in the sea of information,
your subconscious mind processes and assimilates only information that it can
relate to, that is familiar.
Hence, my question to you is: what kind
of information would YOU like to let into your mind, and let your subconscious
to process as reality?
This is exactly how the power of
manifesting works, the Law of attraction. What your RAS works with, is sounds,
words and images. What you focus on and what is familiar, is what you will get.
So what would you prefer to be familiar
to your mind: words like “bad”, or “fantastic”? DO you see how the two answers from
part 1: “Not too bad”, or “I’m fantastic!”, are so drastically different? In
the first instance, you feed your RAS with the familiarity of the word, and
state, of “bad”, and this is what the subconscious mind works with. For the
rest of the day. For the rest of your… reality.
Watch yourself for a day or two. Notice
what noises you wake up to, watch the words you use, and the thoughts you go to
bed with. Is there something that can be reframed in a more positive way?
![]() |
| Be positive, so that you attract positive things |
Here is the formula to a more
productive day, to a healthier state, and opening multiple opportunities in
front of you:
1.
Start
the day with your affirmations:
“I am a great person.”
“I look fantastic.”
And reframe into the
positive where necessary: don’t tell yourself: “I’m not a failure.”, but
instead say “I’m a successful young person getting closer to my dream.”
2.
Watch
and reframe the language you use relating to how you feel, and what you will
achieve:
Not too bad àGood, great,
fantastic!
I feel terribleà I don’t feel my
best.
This plan will fail à This plan might not
work (all that well).
You can reframe in
the positive virtually anything!
3.
Finish
the day with gratitude, or acknowledging the good things that happened to you.
The more grateful you are, the more the universe will give you.
Because, as Napoleon Hill said, you can
achieve any realistic goal if you keep thinking of that goal, and stop thinking
any negative thoughts about it.
